What is the best hotels to stay in during the holiday season?

Author: My husband and I are heading to NYC for the holiday season. We were looking for some hotels that embrace the Christmas spirit either internally or have great views of something Christmasy (ie: Christmas tree, lights, display, skating rink). We tried to look for a place that had views of the Rockefeller Center Tree, but it looks like there is nothing that has this view. Please help! Thank you.
